Description
The course provides the knowledge and tools necessary for the use of the modules available in Motor-Cad relating to type engines of interest to the customer.
The EMAG module’s FEM solver will be discussed during the sections. The three types of analysis of the operating regime that can be carried out will be described: engine at a single point of operation, engine subject to a given duty cycle, map of engine operation. The main tools available for engine sizing, power setting and post-processing will be described. The generator operation and load modelling will be shown.
The course will be a highly practical one; Various examples of modelling and application case solutions will be discussed and tested in accordance with the customer’s requirements.
Recipients
Electrical, electronic, electromechanical, physical and design engineers who feel the need to use finite element computing in the context of virtual prototyping of electric machines.
Propedeutics
None.
