Description
The SW provides the tools and techniques needed for thermal fluid dynamics (thermal management) simulation of many types of applications and electrical and electronic devices.
The objective of this course is to cover the basics of using a dedicated SW and the main advanced features. Students will be introduced to the world of electronic thermal modelling through a combination of lectures, workshops and examples/demonstrations.
The course is presented with a distinctly application-oriented focus; Numerous examples of modelling and solving significant application cases are discussed and tested.
Recipients
Electrical, electronic, mechanical, physical and design engineers who feel the need to use finite element computing in the context of thermal management of electrical and electronic components and systems.
Propedeutics
None.
