Tech Day - Online
Particleworks is a fluid dynamics analysis software based on the numerical "Moving Particle Semi-implicit method" (MPS).
This method makes it possible to solve free surface flows and jets without using a mesh, but by discretizing the fluid using particles. The main advantage of this method is the remarkable simplicity and speed of building a complex model compared to classical CFD methods, based on a calculation grid.
The time saving, allow you to go from simulation times in the order of one month to one day.
The MPS method is particularly effective for the simulation of liquid flows with high deformation of the free surface and for studying the interaction between fluids and moving parts, such as in transmission systems, motors, bearings and hydraulic turbines.
Particleworks also solves heat transfer between the fluid and the walls of the system and is used both for the study of piston cooling (combustion engines) and for the cooling of modern electric motors.
After the training, participants will receive a 4-week trial license of the Particleworks.
During the trial period, EnginSoft will assign an engineer to each participant to follow up on specific projects / models and provide online support by scheduling regular web meetings.
This event is free of charge: registration is required to attend.
It uses a web platform (Zoom) that does not require local software installation. You can join the session via: Mac, PC, or any mobile device.
Registered participants will receive the link and credentials to participate at the email address provided during registration.
You can ask questions and participate in the discussion via the chat function in the web platform.

CASE STUDY
Racing engines are continuously evolved and fine-tuned to allow them to achieve extraordinary levels of performance, albeit with great complexity. However, MotoGP regulations restrict engine development by constraining some of the main design parameters.
