A joint venture agreement between South African company M-Tech Industrial (Pty) Ltd, and international premier consulting firm in Simulation Based Engineering Science (SBES), EnginSoft SpA has led to the creation of Flownex Europe. The joint-venture company, based in Cologne, Germany, is the Master Distributor for the Flownex® product suite in Europe.

The new company is headed by William G. J. Theron of M-Tech Industrial and Juergen Hasselbeck of EnginSoft GmbH as the joint Managing Directors and provides a hybrid sales and support network to the local markets. Its team has technical sales experience and proven business experience in a global distributed sales and marketing network.

“Our hybrid network business model, which includes existing competent Flownex resellers as well as the different local EnginSoft sales organizations, is open to expansion,” states William Theron, joint MD of Flownex Europe.

The Flownex product supports simulation at the system level in the early design stage and offers direct integration into the ANSYS® environment, supporting a 1D/3D two-direction integration for CFD and for mechanical applications. “Flownex Europe will strongly influence future software enhancements based on our close customer relationships, our native-language technical support and our expertise in balancing technical enhancements with the general needs of the European market,” says Juergen Hasselbeck, joint MD of Flownex Europe.

The new JV company offers a technical application support center through a joint structure created with M-Tech in South Africa that delivers proven technical expertise to support the product suite. Sales partners can draw on the company’s proven experience with sales tools, partner guidelines, marketing campaigns and success stories.

Flownex Europe’s headquarters is at: Augustinusstrasse 11c, 50226 Frechen Koenigsdorf (Cologne), Germany

About Flownex

Flownex is system-level thermal-fluid flow simulation software that offers a fast, reliable and accurate, total system and subsystem approach to the simulation, design and optimization of complete, integrated thermal-fluid systems, based on fundamental principles similar to conventional computational fluid dynamics (CFD). Applications include compressed air networks, water reticulation networks, steam heating and heat exchanger networks, refrigeration cycles, as well as whole power plants including gas turbines, coal fired power stations and gas-cooled nuclear reactor power plants. Flownex® is developed in an ISO 9001:2008 and NQA1 quality assurance system environment. Flownex® is the only software of its kind to hold a nuclear accreditation, a testament to its quality, reliability and accuracy. Its ability to simulate systems with any combination of liquid, gas, two phase, slurry and mixture flows, in both steady state and dynamic cases, makes Flownex® the most powerful simulation tool of its kind.
