Electric Motors cooling: better design with digital models

This webinar will focus on the potential of Particleworks to improve the cooling of high power density electric motors.

The objective is to provide attendees with a comprehensive understanding of the functionality of Particleworks and its practical applications to electric motor cooling.

The presentation will begin with an introduction to the meshless CFD method Moving Particle Simulation, and an overview of the key features of Particleworks, including easy CAD connectivity, fast configuration and calculation processes, and an interface designed to be accessible to all designers, regardless of CAE expertise.

Industrial case studies will be presented with validation cases of coolant distribution, scavenging and full electric motor temperature.

Topic areas

  • e-motors temperature prediction,
  • flow and temperature analysis of running-wet e-motors,
  • simulation method and validation cases
