ANSYS WEBINAR

Creating and Evaluating ROMs

Date: 27 Febbraio 2020

Timetable: 17.00 - 17.20

Speaker/s: ANSYS Webinar

Language: English

Make and analyze changes to your simulation to instantly predict results with a reduced-order model (ROM). A ROM is a simplified version of a model that preserves the essential behavior and dominant effects to reduce solution time and storage capacity required. Attend this webinar to learn how to:

  • Enable ROMs in Fluent
  • Define parameters and zones of interest
  • Create a design of experiments (DOE) in ANSYS DesignXplorer
  • Build and evaluate the ROM

CASE STUDY

CFD simulation of an axial piston pump with Ansys CFX

This work presents the CFD model of an axial piston pump and compares it to a validated 0D model. The main objective of this study was to analyze the flow field inside the pump, focusing on the aspects that involved the main inner volumes, such as the filling and emptying dynamics in the piston chambers and the flow field inside the ducts.
